“My Hero” – 2007- awarded ‘gold’ prize
(1st place – State Champions) at Wakakirri National Story Festival Grand Final at Sydney Entertainment Centre Our production was inspired by comic book heroes specifically Superman, Batman and Spiderman. In our story, our main characters begin by going about their normal lives in a city in the grip a crime wave. They then witness three civilians being abducted by city villains and use their superpowers to intervene. The civilians are saved and our main characters return to the city to a hero’s welcome. |
